Comparison, shop and quote request terms

These terms cover the comparison service, shop catalog and quote requests. A request is not an order; confirm any sale or rental agreement directly with the contracting supplier.

Version: 2026-10-03.

1. Comparison, catalog and quote request service

ContainerFox helps buyers compare container options and prepare a free quote request. Supplier profiles support that decision; they do not guarantee stock, price, quality, licensing or delivery coverage. Review the profile information and checking dates, distinguish published physical locations from service areas, and verify the actual contracting business.

The US catalog presents container specifications and clearly labeled indicative price references in USD where available. These references are not binding sale offers; confirm the actual price by individual quotation, including applicable sales taxes, delivery, unloading, availability and the complete delivered total. A submission does not place an order, take payment or form a sale or rental contract. Before you accept a supplier offer, obtain its written quotation identifying the seller, actual unit, availability, full price and contract terms.

2. Operator

The service is operated by Lu Gd, trading as LG, based at Rue de la Préfecture, 21000 Dijon, France. This is the operator's actual French identity; this US edition does not represent a separate US company or a local container depot.

Contact: [email protected]. French SIREN: 937580306. French VAT registration: FR17937580306. These identify the French operator and are not US business, contractor or sales-tax registration numbers. A supplier profile does not constitute verification of a supplier’s tax or licensing status.

3. Inquiries and your information

Provide accurate project, state, ZIP code and delivery details. The form and privacy notice identify recipients and explain any forwarding. The dedicated US quote request is stored privately for operator review, without automatic delivery to a supplier. A public profile does not automatically make that business an inquiry recipient.

The request is free to the person seeking a quotation. A supplier profile does not establish participation in the quote service or a partnership. Contact information supplied for a project enables follow-up on that project and does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing. No payment or supplier acceptance is collected by submitting an inquiry.

4. US quotations, taxes and delivery

Request the price in US dollars (USD). The quotation should itemize the container, rental term if relevant, delivery, unloading, optional work, deposits and applicable state and local sales or use taxes. There is no federal general sales tax and no single combined rate for all US deliveries. Taxability and collection depend on the transaction, location, seller and any valid exemption; this service does not determine your tax liability.

Confirm the complete amount payable, payment milestones, surcharges, remote-delivery conditions, waiting time, cancellation charges and rental return costs before contracting. Availability and access must be checked for the actual site. A city listing or ZIP code match is not a site-access survey or a promise of stock.

5. Site suitability

Check zoning and building permits with the city, county or other authority having jurisdiction. Establish the adopted state or local building code, amendments and the requirements for the intended use. A small footprint, temporary placement, mobility or absence of permanent foundations does not establish a general permit exemption. A shipping CSC plate does not approve a dwelling or office.

Agree truck access, ground conditions, utilities, lifting arrangements and placement with the supplier. Highway permits and construction-site safety requirements are separate from land-use approval. Guide dimensions and illustrations are not structural designs, engineering approvals or site safety assessments.

6. Supplier contracts and consumer rights

Contract and consumer-protection rules vary by state and transaction. Obtain the seller’s legal identity, complete terms, delivery commitment, inspection and acceptance procedure, cancellation and return policy, warranty and complaint process before agreeing to buy or rent. Confirm the consequences of customization and the cost of specialist return transport.

There is no universal federal change-of-mind right for every online purchase. The FTC Cooling-Off Rule covers qualifying sales away from a seller’s permanent business location and has exclusions, including sales made entirely online. Separate federal shipment rules can apply to qualifying mail, internet or telephone merchandise orders, and state law may provide additional remedies. An inquiry on this site is not a completed merchandise order.

A commercial warranty or an as-is description does not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Business purchases, private sales and consumer contracts may be treated differently. These service terms do not waive applicable statutory rights or create a warranty on behalf of a listed supplier.

7. Cross-border service and applicable protections

The website addresses US projects and is operated by the French business named above. The applicable legal rules depend on the operator’s activities, the parties and the transaction. These terms do not designate an invented US establishment or remove mandatory consumer or privacy protections that apply to you.

Any supplier sale or rental needs its own clear contract, including the contracting entity, governing-law and dispute provisions where appropriate, and required disclosures. Browsing supplier profiles or sending an inquiry does not accept undisclosed supplier terms, agree to arbitration or authorize a charge. If a document or translated term is unclear, obtain a written clarification before entering that contract.

8. Corrections and complaints

Send website corrections and complaints to [email protected], identifying the page and facts concerned. Contact the contracting supplier about a sale or rental dispute. A state attorney general or consumer-protection office can explain relevant state complaint routes; the FTC accepts reports about potentially deceptive business practices. Those reports do not themselves resolve an individual contract dispute.

The service does not certify suppliers or adjudicate disputes. Paid placement must be identified, and reported factual errors can be reviewed. Applicable statutory remedies remain available; these terms impose no mandatory arbitration or exclusive US venue.
