Directory, shop and enquiry terms
These terms cover the directory, shop catalogue and quote service. A request is not an order; confirm any sale or rental agreement directly with the contracting supplier.
Version: 2026-09-30.
1. Directory, catalogue and quotation service
ContainerFox provides supplier information and helps users prepare enquiries. Listings do not guarantee stock, price, quality or delivery coverage. Review the profile information and checking dates.
The Canadian catalogue lists CAD container prices before applicable sales taxes, delivery and unloading. Prices marked provisional require a written quotation. Availability and the complete delivered total must be confirmed. A submission does not place an order, take payment or form a sale or rental contract. The written quotation must identify the seller, the actual unit, availability, total price and contract terms before you accept.
2. Operator
The directory is operated by Lu Gd, trading as LG, based at Rue de la Préfecture, 21000 Dijon, France. This is the operator's actual French identity; the Canadian edition does not represent a separate Canadian company.
Contact: [email protected]. French SIREN: 937580306. French VAT registration: FR17937580306. These identifiers are not Canadian business or sales-tax registration numbers.
3. Enquiries and your information
Provide accurate project and delivery details. The form and privacy notice identify recipients and explain any forwarding. A public directory listing does not automatically make a supplier an enquiry recipient.
The request is free to the person seeking a quotation. Participating professionals may pay for the service. Contact information supplied for a project does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing.
4. Canadian quotations, taxes and delivery
Request the price in Canadian dollars (CAD). The quotation should itemize the container, delivery, unloading, optional work and applicable GST/HST, PST or QST. Tax treatment depends on the transaction, supplier and place of supply; there is no single national combined sales-tax rate.
Confirm the full amount payable and any deposits, surcharges, remote-delivery conditions, waiting time and rental return charges before contracting. Availability and access must be checked for the actual postal code and site.
5. Site suitability
Check zoning, development approval and building permits with the municipality or authority having jurisdiction. Use the adopted provincial or territorial code and local bylaws for the intended use. A small footprint, temporary placement or absence of foundations does not establish a general exemption.
Agree truck access, ground conditions, lifting arrangements and placement with the supplier. Guide dimensions are not structural designs or site safety assessments.
6. Supplier contracts and consumer rights
Consumer protection and contract rules vary by province or territory and by the transaction. Obtain the seller's identity, complete terms, delivery commitment, cancellation and return policy, warranty and complaint procedure before agreeing to buy or rent.
Do not assume that every Canadian purchase has a universal cooling-off period or change-of-mind return right. Statutory remedies, including any cancellation rights for an internet or other regulated agreement, depend on the applicable law and circumstances. Confirm specialist return transport and related charges in advance.
A supplier's commercial warranty or an as-is description does not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Business purchases, private sales and consumer contracts can be treated differently. These directory terms do not waive applicable statutory rights.
7. Quebec language rights
Using this English edition does not waive any mandatory Quebec consumer or French-language rights. Businesses operating in Quebec must assess the French-language requirements for customer service, commercial information, websites and contracts; an English-language directory does not establish compliance with those obligations. The operator and each supplier remain responsible for the requirements applying to their own activities.
Where the law requires a French contract to be provided first, that version must be supplied before an express choice to be bound by a version in another language. Browsing this site or sending an enquiry is not that choice. Scope and exceptions depend on the business and agreement; consult the Office québécois de la langue française guidance.
8. Corrections and complaints
Send directory corrections and complaints to [email protected], identifying the page and facts concerned. Contact the contracting supplier about a sale or rental dispute; your provincial or territorial consumer affairs office can explain applicable consumer protections.
The directory does not certify suppliers or adjudicate disputes. Paid placement must be identified, and reported factual errors can be reviewed.
