Directory, catalogue and enquiry terms

These terms cover the directory, model catalogue and quotation service. A request is not an order; confirm any sale or hire agreement directly with the contracting supplier.

Version: 2026-10-03.

1. Directory, catalogue and quotation service

ContainerFox publishes supplier information and helps users prepare enquiries for Australian projects. A listing does not guarantee stock, prices, condition, registration, licensing or delivery coverage. Check the actual contracting supplier and its current written quotation.

The catalogue presents model specifications for individual AUD quotations. Submitting an enquiry does not take payment, reserve stock, place an order or form a sale or hire contract. A supplier's final quotation must confirm the proposed unit, availability, delivery, unloading and complete amount payable.

2. Website operator

The directory is operated by Lu Gd, trading as LG, at Rue de la Préfecture, 21000 Dijon, France. This is the operator's actual French identity. The Australian edition does not create a separate Australian business, local depot or Australian Business Number.

Contact: [email protected]. French SIREN: 937580306. French VAT registration: FR17937580306. These identify the French operator and are not an Australian ABN or GST registration. Supplier business identity and any ABN, GST or licensing status must be checked independently.

3. Enquiries and personal information

Provide accurate project details, state or territory, postcode and delivery information. The form and privacy notice identify the intended recipients and explain any forwarding. Directory inclusion alone does not make a supplier an enquiry recipient. Refer to the actual form's delivery status before submitting.

The enquiry is free to the person requesting a quotation. If paid introductions are offered in future, their terms and intended recipients must be disclosed. Project contact details support follow-up on that project and do not automatically subscribe you to unrelated marketing. The request does not authorise a charge.

4. Australian dollars, GST and delivered totals

Request prices in Australian dollars (AUD). The standard GST rate is 10% on taxable supplies; the supplier confirms the actual treatment. Consumer prices must include GST and quantifiable unavoidable or preselected charges. Any ex-GST figure must be clearly labelled. The statutory single-price exception applies to representations made exclusively to bodies corporate, such as companies; a B2B label alone does not establish that exception. Delivery of goods can be priced separately, but any known minimum delivery charge must be stated. Do not add GST again to an inclusive amount.

Ask the written quotation to identify the unit, hire period if relevant, delivery address, transport, unloading, options, mandatory fees and complete GST-inclusive amount payable. Delivery or site costs that cannot yet be calculated must be disclosed and confirmed before acceptance. Keep refundable deposits separate from project cost and record payment milestones, return conditions, cancellation, failed-delivery and hire collection charges.

5. Site suitability and approvals

Check the proposed use and placement with the local council and relevant building authority. Planning and building requirements vary by state, territory, council and site. The National Construction Code applies through state and territory legislation where relevant. Temporary placement, a small footprint or lack of permanent foundations does not establish a general exemption. A CSC plate for transport does not approve a dwelling or office.

Agree truck access, load-bearing ground, supports, drainage, overhead and buried services, lifting and placement with competent professionals and the supplier. Heavy-vehicle access and work health and safety requirements are separate from land-use approvals. Guide dimensions and illustrations do not substitute for engineering or a site assessment.

6. Supplier contracts and Australian Consumer Law

Obtain the supplier's legal identity, quotation validity, delivery commitment, condition report, inspection procedure, cancellation terms, commercial warranty and complaints contact before buying or hiring. Specify any defects and customisation. Supplier terms must not exclude Australian Consumer Law rights that apply.

Consumer guarantees can apply to second-hand goods supplied by a business and to qualifying business purchases. Purchases of A$100,000 or less including GST can be covered, subject to statutory criteria and exclusions, including resupply and certain production uses. Goods or services ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use can also qualify above that amount. Age, price and disclosed condition matter. Private sales may have different treatment.

Applicable consumer guarantees may provide remedies for defective or misdescribed goods or deficient services, depending on the failure. A commercial warranty, an as-is description or a no-refunds statement cannot waive statutory rights that apply. There is no general automatic change-of-mind refund or cooling-off period for every ordinary online purchase; agree any voluntary cancellation policy. These enquiries are not completed purchases.

7. Cross-border service

The website addresses Australian projects and is operated by the French business identified above. Applicable rules depend on the activities, parties and transaction. These terms do not remove mandatory Australian Consumer Law, privacy or other protections that apply to you.

A supplier sale or hire requires its own clear contract identifying the contracting entity, complete terms and relevant governing-law and dispute provisions. Browsing or sending an enquiry does not accept undisclosed supplier terms or authorise arbitration or a charge.

8. Corrections and complaints

Send directory corrections to [email protected], identifying the page and facts concerned. Contact the contracting supplier first for a purchase or hire complaint. State or territory consumer affairs bodies can assist with consumer disputes; the ACCC accepts reports for enforcement intelligence and does not resolve individual disputes.

For suspected fraud, contact your bank promptly and report the incident to Scamwatch and police as appropriate. The directory does not certify suppliers or adjudicate disputes. Paid placements must be identified. Applicable statutory remedies remain available.
